Great summary of Orleans through the ages (so to speak). Yeah, the heavy armor look doesn't really work for me either. However, the re-imagined Orleans as a villain is a great adaptation of the original look. Slicked hair, spikes instead of shoulder arcs, the look is dead on.
Weird, I too was going to comment on the perfect villain hair for that particular adaptaton. No wonder people mistake Greg and I for a gay couple in restaurants.
The black is better, IMHO. You may want to tweak some of the other character element colors though to offset. Jus so the overall costume effect is not as dark...

I'm still not sure if I like the black or the gray better for replacing the white.

Looks damn good though man.
Now we just have to convince Rob to roll a villain on Triumph so we can all go revel in nefarious deeds on a non-stocked server.
I do really love Triumph, by the way. It's my preferred server. Less dumb-ass kids (playing to my crotchety old man persona).
