Yep, hit Security Level 50 tonight with some folks I know on Triumph. If we have any problems now, we can call in the "Big Guns". It was a wicked fun ride with Ater and he's a champ at soloing and large teams. To be honest though, I'm a little disappointed, as there's not a lot more for him to do other than "go out and have fun", which is fine. Anyway, thought I'd let you guys know.

Poor Fjordbotten, my very first character, is still in the low 40s. This has got to be a level time record for anybody with a job. I mean, sure Ater was free to play on 8 man teams, but still, this is total power gamer style, making both me and Eric worry if we are exciting enough. Well, I guess to whatever degree we may have grown complacent with alts, this is certain incentive to get back to the seriousness of character build. What better way to do this than with Incredible Squad mains? Congratulations, bro. This is awesome!
You and Eric have nothing to worry about. Cranking Ater up was in large part a math exercise for me in build planning. It's the most endurance-hungry powerset combo I have ever seen in the game so far. Tons of toggles, plenty of AoE attacks to spam, and a self-heal that takes 1/5th or so of your endurance bar when you use it.
My "powergaming" is really just playing with other folks I know online and sessions tend to be very focused. Team tactics are solid and mostly focused on speed and efficiency for clearing maps. It's a shame I'm not actively playing a Tank with you guys, as I have picked up some tips from watching others and seeing how they work the crowd, so to speak.
Gaming in those sessions is really pushing the envelope on the characters, which is why with an 8-person team the XP is gushing like a fire hose.
Truthfully, our sessions are as, if not more, exciting. I have a personal stake in our team and characters, and it's really cool to see everyone readjusting to their new Archetypes in the Incredible Squad. It's also a more social setting and I feel more easygoing about our sessions.
Definitely no need to worry that I'll get bored with our progress or go crank Galvanic up to some obscene level. There are some alts I play solo, some I play exclusively in teams, but my "main" characters are the ones I play with you guys. I know where my roots are... : )
Thanks for the nice sentiment man, I appreciate it.
