So what's the consensus? Business as usual? I know it's the same week at the 4th, so RL conflicts are likely for folks. On my end, I took the week off, so whatever works for you guys. Time permitting a special/extended holiday session may be viable if there is interest...

My week is going to be the same. No exteneded holiday time. Essence Festival is this weekend, so I'll be getting out of taking Emily into New Orleans, but I bet she comes up with another way to fill the time. :)
Well, given everything going on this week, today is a "Greg Day". I'm going to see Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer today at 2:10pm with a buddy from work (the office is dead today after the holiday, so he's playing hooky after noontime). After that a little dinner/StarBucks/Barnes & Noble and then home for some big CoH. Amy wanted to be sure I had a day this weekend to do stuff by myself, since I've been watching the kids a lot over the vacation week to allow her to do stuff.
Flambeau Noir is almost L40 now (he's like a bubble away) and I'm having a good time with him in pickup teams practicing my artistic interpretation of a cajun football player turned pyrotechnic super-hero... I'm sure it might offend Eric with some of the stereotypes I'm playing on, since it's more than a little camp, but it adds a level of entertainment to otherwise "blah" pick-up groups.
Some of the stuff is kinda over-the-top. Last night I busted out mid-fight...
"Like bacon on 'da griddle, vill'ns gonna sizzle!"
It almost stopped the fight as everyone groaned. I must be getting better : )
Oh, and last night I picked up 2 arcane rares - Pangean Soil and Magical Conspiracy. Give a shout if you need one, since many high-level Rare Recipes use them.
